man, i haven't listened to this song in forever. if there's anyone in the world who knows how to write a kickass 9-minute song, it's billy corgan.
so yeah, here's a typical sunday. well, almost typical. i am preparing for a new week with the usual procrastinations, but this time it's after one crazy week off. i've never taken an entire week off for anything, but i think it was just what i needed. those two weekends would have sucked anyways.
so i spent pretty much all of 9 days in complete isolation from the outside world. the first half really was horrible, but eventually i re-found the abilities to do things, and i started to enjoy my stress-free detour. it was a great day when i could finally start taking showers again. i mean, i enjoy a bath every now and then, but never have i enjoyed a painful oatmeal soak. yeah, why is chickenpox so crappy at 17, but easy at 7? my meds were giving me weird hallucinogenic dreams, though. that was cool.
today my dad ran the l.a. marathon. his 3rd marathon. i think it's amazing for him to be able to achieve this goal of his, especially at his age. i think his next project is 50k, then 50 miles. the ultra-marathon, i think it goes by. i would never get near that.
