hey! thanks for the comment. those artists in china inspired me. they were drawing and painting every day, all day into the night.
is that you on the license? NOooooo.
once in new york city i went to a dance place, the limelight, and i was on guest list, but they weren't letting in people who were on the list. i had an equally dry conversation with a tall, gussied up queen in long eyelashes and some kind of pink getup; somehow, they let me in, i don't know why.
yes that is me on the license. i went through that whole awkward ramonesque hair phase just like everyone else in angsty teenageville. keep in mind that that picture was taken 2 years ago on a hot autumn day after waiting in line for two hours and being hassled by the clerk. i didn't have a chance.
that limelight situation sounds wonderfully surreal. i just imagine you dressing up as a guy and flirting with the guy who's dressed up as a girl. role-reversaliffic!
things in l.a. are fine. it's starting to get hotter here, although i suppose it's nothing compared to bangkok. my school's prom is this saturday, but i won't be going due to a series of unfortunate events. don't fret, though, as i will be attending a different prom in santa monica, going, as is usual, stag. never thought i'd be paying $60 to go to something i normally don't enjoy, but hell, i'll give it a shot. once in a lifetime chance, right?
