tonight i find myself unecessarily angstful. it's a happy angst, though. a truly odd state of being.

i was just outside smoking in my backyard, and the sky was a deep red. it reminded me of the album i was listening to, 'loveless'. the air was reflecting the warm orange glow of the l.a. lights, but in the east was the bright white light of the 'univision' building a few blocks away. like the blogger frontpage says, 'scheduled good times'.

tomorrow night is 'grad night', which means i'll be spending the night at disneyland with most of my classmates. we'll arrive at loyola at 10PM and we'll return at 6 in the morning to the horrors of friday morning traffic in downtown l.a. i figure i'll be bored, but hey, what's a little more boredom nowadays? it's true the close of this, my 12th year of mandatory education is a little bittersweet, but at this point i can only look to the uncertainty the next few years will bring me with a wry smirk.

i like this air of pseudo-sarcasm. it makes me confident of my helplessness. powerful and powerless all at once.

those red skies always make me think of atomic aftermath, especially if it is a warm evening.

why is east coast pizza so much better? and why can't i say i love new york without it evoking that cliche?

a couple more puffs of smog and l.a. could just skip the explosion and get straight to the fallout.

east coast pizza is good for a lot of reasons. mainly, new yorkers simply love their dough. pizza, bagels, high-rises, ivy leagues, etc, etc.
