music: 'lebanese blonde' by thievery corporation

in case i hadn't made this clear previously, i absolutely adore the perks of being a wallflower by chbosky. absolutely. adore.

maybe it's the fact that it agrees with my keen sense of pseudo-nostalgia since it's set in the early 90's. actually that's probably a large chunk of it. otherwise, though, i loved the way the narrator's views unfold. his diction is like that of haddon's in the curious incident of the dog in the night-time, in which the narrator is pretty much an idiot savant, and that kinda threw me off, but it worked fairly well for the story's progression. he's always in the action, but still distant in his narrative.

i engulfed this book. and any 200-page book i can finish in 9 hours through the night should probably be worth a glance, don't you think?

i read the curious incident book. i disliked the main character but i believed him when at the end he said he could now do anything.
