Woohoo! It's time for you to sit around blankly trying to figure out what animal people are! :D

ok, heather, ok, ok. like a freakin' kid in a candy store with these, what do you call them, "memes"?

1. you know people from all over the place it seems. that i admire.
2. i challenge you to find two or three songs that i've included in my posts and listen to them! i'll even email them to you if you want me to. just choose your favorite titles.
3. light blue and white
4. i notice that you've gone through a whole lot since i've started reading your blog and it seems like even more before i knew you, but i also notice how you've manage to gather yourself each time and move on. i can only imagine the courage and tenacity you embody as you continue to live your life the best you can.
5. it was late in my junior year of high school and i was feeling like shit (no surprise). i went to bed wishing that there would be something to cheer me up the next day and there was your comment, letting me know that i was doing something right. it really did make my day.
6. a cute little white mouse frolicking through a field of spring flowers. (don't ask me why. it's true that this is the hardest part...)
7. how did you meet your husband sean? you two seem just right for each other.
8. excuse me for generalizing, but i think of the theme song to 'sailor moon' in all of its glory.

No, I do not call them memes!!!!!!! Grrr.

1. Ah, the power of online communities XD

2. Oooh, this sounds like fun! I will start making a list.

3. Nice! I like those colors :)

4. Thank you. There was a time when I was supremely bitter, but there is too much fun to be had to waste time with that emotion, I think.

5. Wow, that's awesome. :)

6. Bwee! I have a perfect image in my head now. Cute!

7. I got interested in the cartoon Robotech, and decided to see if there was a Robotech chat room on EFNet. There was, so I started to hang out there, and Sean happened to be one of the moderators. After I got out of the hospital, I was very bitter about the low probability of my ever having children, and I often wondered why I'd lived at all. Sean noticed this and decided to start talking with me privately to see if he could help. It didn't take long after that for us to realize we had feelings for each other. He "confessed" first, but I was afraid of leading him on (I'd done that to my last boyfriend, and hated myself for it) so I took my sweet time in returning his feelings. Finally I couldn't take it anymore ;>

Meeting in person for the first time was weird, because you understand a person a certain way online and there are differences in person that add to your understanding. But it didn't take too long to adjust.

We were together for four years before we got married. I wanted to move to Augusta to be with him sooner, but I needed to finish college. So as soon as I graduated, I packed up and moved, and we got married.

You know, looking back on it, it seems ridiculous to get married when you haven't lived in the same city for a reasonable period of time, doesn't it? But hell, I think love is pretty ridiculous in general.

8. LOL. I'm trying to remember what that song sounds like. All I can remember off the top of my head are the OPs for the first series and Stars. It's been years since I listened to any Sailor Moon music, it seems...

that's quite a story. the kind of story you tend to appreciate when you've been around long enough to understand things don't always work out that nicely. congrats on that!

as for the song, add it to the list and i'll send it to you with whatever other songs you choose! it's not like i don't already have it you know... and if you don't know what to choose, fill me in bit about your musical tastes and i'll help you out. (unless you're into randomly and blindly picking.)

(...which is cool too...)

Well, I conveniently left out all the angst. ;> If it had been up to me, I would have bailed out of the relationship very early...but Sean refused to give up on me. He is one hard-headed SOB ;>
