mood: self-destructive music: '100%" by sonic youth

i'm in a really weird place right now. that bad mood from the last few days has been lifted, but i'm not really sure what did it. i guess it was just time, but right now i'm feeling so stoic. it's just weird, that's all.

i've been buying a lot of cds lately, this weekend not being any exception. i sold $17 worth of cds, bought 4 others and paid about $16. 'Apart by Mira, 'Time Out' by The Dave Brubeck Quartet, and both 'Sister' and 'Daydream Nation' by Sonic Youth. the guy at the register looked at me funny. he should have; i bought an ambient gothic album, a classic west coast jazz album, and 2 landmark noise-pop albums in the same sitting.

nothing else really to report. tonight there's talk of going to chuckie cheese's, which i'm guessing is going to have me denying i know my friends all night. who knows? maybe i'll spark up that old arcade habit i used to have.
