mood: sick
music: 'i can see it (but i can't feel it)' by my bloody valentine
what a dreary day it's been. those who have experienced my physical presence might think otherwise, but i can't help it; that's the effect people have on me. all people make me notably more cheery. it's kind of annoying.
today's public soundtrack consisted of sonic youth, lush, and mazzy star. whenever i play mazzy star, it's safe to assume there's something bothering me. after all, when i'm Hope-less, i listen to mazzy star. ho ho ho, hee hee hee, ha ha ha. look it up, uncultured ones.
private soundtrack consisted of my favorite dance step: the 'my bloody valentine loop-shuffle'. that, and a 60-minute stint with sonic youth's 'daydream nation'.
work didn't help too much either. starting around 5:30, my co-workers started leaving because, duh, it's valentine's day. by 6pm, i had become the head of sgt. kikka's lonely hearts club band, with me on lead glockenspiel, ching on autoharp, and an unknown amigo on cowbell duty. our best single is a cover of three dog night's 'one'.
