mood: swamped music: 'brother james' by sonic youth

following the lead of sonic youth, tonight i have tuned my guitar as thus:

G G E E D D

not only that, but i have also created a couple interesting sounding riffs. like a 12-string guitar has only 6 different pitches, my 6-string guitar has only 3. there's a very nice chorus-y sound to it. if i had the right gauge strings, i would have already tried to tune it to F# F# F# F# B A, but i don't have the correct equipment to be a true avant-gardist.
