goddammit. the only thing worth noting today is that my brakes gave out on a small highway/busy street. not only that, but while i was trying to brake to avoid hitting the back of an suv. i looked away from the road for a second then looked back and saw that the guy in front of me was braking, so i started to brake too. it worked for a while, but i still wasn't stopping fast enough, so i pushed down harder on the brakes. still not braking fast enough, i panicked and slammed down my foot, but the pedal just went loose. a split-second later, i rear-ended the suv, with minimal damage to his car. my car... well let's put it this way: the headlight won't close, the hood won't open, the brakes don't work, and the mirror image of the toyota corporate logo is imprinted onto my mangled plastic glob of a bumper.
