what a historic day today is! feeling defiant, andres, kristy, and i decided to go to my spot atop long's because of the big concrete awning at 12:45. it was there that i finished writing the lyrics to a song i'd put off, giving us 4 solid tracks to put on an EP.

i swore back in 2002 when we started playing together that we wouldn't choose a band name until we had written enough to put on some sort of album/EP. (it is my opinion that band names are highly pretentious, and that we would be made a laughing stock among ourselves if one was chosen too early.) keeping to my promise, we decided on our band name:
