and so the insomnia returns. i've got a splitting headache tonite, and the only thing i can think of is how goddamn much i complain on here.
waiting in line for my haircut today, i read the first 12 pages of naked lunch. what a trippy book. i understood what was happening, but i generally didn't know what the sentences were saying. maybe this is the face of beat literature.
after that, i went home and watched night of the living dead which was kind of a let-down for me. i know it was made on a shoestring budget and all, but for the intense cult following it has, i expected a bit more.
then once that was over, i spent about 2 hours constructing the perfect driving mix. the result was so intense that the first 3 times i tried to burn it, it failed at 97%. then on the fourth try it came through, and i marveled at its power chugging down sepulveda at a very much illegal 65 mph. just feign your interest as i take up a little more space on my blog:

Aww, you didn't like Night of the Living Dead? It's such a great movie, though...
Well, I don't like Smashing Pumpkins' "1979"!
;>
well it's not that i didn't like it. i just thought that for a film that's received such widespread fame and massive cult status, it would straight out blow my mind. but it didn't. for the record i didn't mind watching it. i'd much rather watch night of the living dead than dark water or some crap like that.
now, your dislike of '1979', that's just downright evil. how can you live? :P
